Carin Fredette is The Vegan Yogi Chef!
Carin started her culinary career over 20 years ago as a pastry chef for one of the most prestigious bakeries in Vermont. Carin has continued over the years to advance in all aspects of from scratch cooking and has had successful business ventures because of her love and passion for food.
Due to some health issues that were diet related she knew that adopting a plant-based diet would solve these issues, so she turned her attention to nutrient dense foods and applied her many accumulated skills to prove that not only is plant-based cuisine extremely healthy, it can be incredibly delicious.. Carin has mastered all degrees of plant-based cooking from baked goods, soups and stews, casseroles, entrees, sides, salads, sauces and dressings and everything in between.
She shares her vast culinary knowledge here on her blog, in authored publications, and cooking guides. Weaving her passions in life together, Carin is also a 500hr RYT and teaches yoga both as private lessons and classes in the style of Beginner, Yin, Vinyasa flow, and Hatha yoga. In her spare time she can be found at home practicing yoga, gardening, playing with her dogs, and of course….making healthy delicious foods.
